Install and Configure Active Directory
1. Go to Windows Server Manager
2. Click on Add Roles and Features and Click on Next.
3. Add Roles and Features wizard will Open. Click on Next.
5. Click on Checkbox Active Directory Domain Services.
6. Popup Window will appear, Click on Add Features and Click on Next.
7. Click on Next on Add Features Section
8. Click Next on Active Directory Domain Services description window.
9. Click Install on the Confirmation window and wait for Installation process to complete.
10. After installing AD DS Role, we will promote this Server to a Domain Controller.
11. Select Add a new forest and provide the Root domain name test.domain and Click on Next.
12. Enter the Directory Services Restore Mode password.
13. Ignore the DNS warning message.
14. We should use default NetBIOS domain name and click Next.
15. Leave defualt paths (can be changed while installation as per company need) and click Next.
16. Review and click Next if no errors.
17. Click on Install and wait for the installation to finish.
18. The Domain Controller is now ready.
